Terms of Service

1. The service

Logswire provides Sentry-compatible error ingestion, issue grouping, stacktrace viewing, quotas, and optional alerts (“Service”). The Service is operated by an independent solo founder (“we”, “operator”).

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. In the current product version, one organization is created per account. Keep your email reachable for security notices (e.g. password reset).

3. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt unauthorized access, probe other tenants’ data, or circumvent quotas.
• Do not overload ingestion, send malware, or use the Service for unlawful content.
• Only send error data from applications you are authorized to operate.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that harm the platform, other customers, or third parties.

4. Plans and limits

Free and Pro plans include documented quotas (projects, events per day, retention). Exceeding daily event limits may result in rejected ingest requests (HTTP 429). Paid plans are billed via Stripe when enabled; card data is handled by Stripe, not stored on our servers.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of application error data you send. We process it solely to provide the Service (storage, grouping, search, alerts, retention cleanup). See the Privacy Policy.

6. Availability

We aim for reliable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, zero false groupings, or that every error will be ingested in time. Public status: /status.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, missed alerts, or data loss beyond restoring available backups we choose to keep. For paying customers, aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the Service in the three months before the claim, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date above will change; continued use after material changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

9. Governing law

Unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of France, with courts of competent jurisdiction there.
